The hit manga Fairy Tail: 100 Years of Quest gets an official anime adaptation.

The announcement was originally made during the Hiro Mashima fan meeting livestream event and will be part of the fairy tales Celebrations for the 15th Fairy Tail: 100 Years of Quest Manga series began in 2018 and currently has nine volumes in Japan.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years of Quest is written and storyboarded by Hiro Mashima and directly follows the events of the original fairy tales Manga in which Natsu and her gang embark on the “100 Years Quest”, a dangerous task that not many people have ever dared.

No information has been announced at this time about the release of the upcoming anime series, but it is likely that when the series is released it will be available on Funimation for fans to try out as all three fairy tales Anime series are on the streaming service along with their two original anime films.
