Mythic Quest Season 2 Teaser: All of this game is a lot of work

Just over a year after the series debuted with rave reviews, Apple has released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated second season of the comedy co-created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz Mythical search After the global quarantine, everyone’s favorite video game developers are returning to the office. Co-designed by McElhenney, Day and Ganz, Mythical Quest: Raven Banquet follows a team of video game developers who take on the challenges of a popular video game. The logline for the second season is as follows:

With the quarantine finally over, the new season of Mythical search finds everyone back in the office (well, almost everyone) and tries to build on the success of Raven’s Banquet by launching an epic new expansion, but Ian and newly promoted co-creative director Poppy struggle with the direction of the game. Meanwhile, CW reconciles some unresolved problems from his past, testers test the limits of office romance, and David loses another woman in his life when Jo (Jessie Ennis) leaves him to help Brad (Danny Pudi).

In addition to McElhenney (it’s always sunny in Philadelphia), the cast for the series includes Charlotte Nicdao (Adventure time: distant lands), Ashly Burch (Life is strange), Jessie Ennis (Life of the party), Imani Hakim (cam), David Hornsby (it’s always sunny in Philadelphia), Danny Pudi (Community) and F. Murray Abraham (Isle of Dogs).

Mythical search is produced by McElhenney and Day under their RCG banner; Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel on behalf of 3Arts; and Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik, and GĂ©rard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film & Television. The first season and the special quarantine episode can currently be streamed on Apple TV +. The second season will premiere on May 7th!
