Amandla Stenberg & Maria Bakalova run A24s Bodies, Bodies, Bodies
Shortly after landing the Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for her breakout role in Borat Follow-up movie filmMaria Bakalova already has another big project on her dance card with Amandla Stenberg (The hate you give) for the A24 thriller Body, body, body, according to the deadline.

Although the details of the plot are kept close to the chest by the studio, sources bring the news that the film is considered to be “a secret slasher movie“Halina Reijn (instinct) is currently sitting in the director’s chair in the studio who has been quietly developing the package over the past few months, waiting for the schedules to come together with a cast list that has gotten incredibly busy over the past few months.
While A24 is keeping track of the project, it’s interesting to note that a film with a similar title was first developed three years ago when the studio bought and wrote the script from “Cat Person” writer Kristen Roupenian Chloe Okuno (Audrey Rose)) to rewrite and direct the film. However, it is currently unknown if both are the same movie.
In addition to The vortex Star and nominee, the studio is also in talks with Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island, the suicide squad) and Myha’la Herrold (The Book of Mormon, Industry) to join his cast, though deals are still ongoing for the two.

Body, body, body is produced and financed by A24 together with David Hinojosa from 2 AM.
