Bliss begins with our protagonist Greg (Owen Wilson), who draws well-known landmarks from his active imagination, with various locations and a mysterious woman who forms the portfolio on his desk. But within minutes, he loses his job, accidentally murders his boss, and finds out that Isabel (Salma Hayek), the woman of his literal dreams, actually exists outside of his sketches. After all of this, Isabel tells Greg that his world is not as real as he thinks, and sends Bliss’ leads down a rabbit hole of crystallized drugs, a complex simulated world, and a very cautious Bill Nye.
