Tonight at the 78th Annual Golden Globes, Andra Day was named for her title role in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday. Day won the appearances of Viola Davis (Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom), Frances McDormand (Nomadland), Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman) and Vanessa Kirby (Pieces of a Woman).
This year the Golden Globes will be moderated by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The 78th annual ceremony was originally scheduled for January but the event has been postponed due to COVID-19.
