Pitchfork is proud to introduce Driven by Sound, a new two-part documentary series starring Madlib and KAYTRANADA, created in collaboration with Lexus IS Wax. In the series, the two producers will talk about their individual connections to vinyl as a physical medium and the impact it has on their music. It also includes a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the Lexus IS Wax Edition: a custom car with a working turntable in the car. Check out the first part of the series below. Part two arrives on March 15th.
Madlib and KAYTRANADA have also teamed up to produce a special 7 “bonus that will be featured on select Vinyl Me, Please member shows in April.
