Peacock has a direct serial order for Field of dreams from universal television. The series is produced by Fremulon’s Michael Schur, who will also write the series, executive producers Lawrence Gordon (The Gordon Company), David Miner and Morgan Sackett.

Based on the Universal Pictures film Field of dreamsthe series is designed to “reinvent the mix of family, baseball, Iowa, and magic that makes the film so enduring and popular.”

The series marks another project Peacock has with Schur after the critically acclaimed comedy Rutherford Falls also by Sierra Teller Ornelas and Ed Helms, which was recently added for a second season.
