Arlington Road series at the Paramount + factories
22 years after director Mark Pellington’s neo-noir thriller opened in theaters Arlington RoadDeadline brings the news that Paramount + is developing a series reboot adaptation of the 1999 film directed by Jeff Bridges. The project is still in its early stages with Pellington who is also the executive producer. This is the streamer’s recent endeavor to bring classic movies back to the small screen that contains series adaptations from Disastrous attraction, Flashdance, fat and Love story.

The original film was directed by Pellington from a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger, who won a Nicholl Fellowship from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. It featured Jeff Bridges, Tim Robbins, Joan Cusack, and Hope Davis, who followed a widowed George Washington University professor who suspects his new neighbors are involved in terrorism and obsessed with foiling their conspiracy.

The Arlington Road The series is written and executive produced by Seth Fisher (The alienist), who is currently also working on the limited series adaptation of UCP The Winds of War. In addition to executive production, Pellington is expected to lead the project.

Paramount + features original content and shows from CBS and other network networks such as MTV, Comedy Central, BET, Paramount Network and Nickelodeon. Ahead of its launch last month, the newly renamed streamer also revealed the new list of original series currently under development under Paramount +. This includes: a new spy drama series called lioness what comes from Yellowstone Creator Taylor Sheridan: a miniseries entitled The offer This revolves around the creation of the legendary crime novel The Godfather;; and iCarly Resuscitation series.
