Ashley Monroe is back with a new album. On April 30th Rosegold will be on the road via Mountainrose Sparrow / Thirty Tigers. The 2018 sequel to Sparrow features “Drive,” which was shared with a new music video today. Check it out below.
“I had this chorus and this idea when I was writing with Mikey Reaves and Niko Moon on September 10th (my birthday),” Monroe said in a statement. “I told them that my father / other angels always send special songs on my birthday. It wasn’t long before we knew we were getting into a special session. I always imagine myself singing this while driving on a desert road. “
