Better call Saul Star Bob Odenkirk is currently in the hospital after collapsing on the set of the hit television show.

Per Variety, Odenkirk collapsed today when the sixth season of the popular film was shot breaking Bad ground out. Odenkirk was filming on the Sony Lot in Culver City, California, and an ambulance was called immediately. The 58-year-old actor is said to be still receiving medical care.

The prequel series stars Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill / Saul Goodman, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Michael McKean as Chuck McGill Jr., Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin, Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, Michael Mando as Nacho Vargo and Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring .

In season 5, Jimmy McGill’s decision to practice law as “Saul Goodman” triggers unexpected and profound changes for those around him. Last season there was also the return of breaking Bad Fan favorites Dean Norris and Steven Michael Quezada, who repeat their roles as Hank Schrader and Steven Gomez.

The critically acclaimed drama is being created by Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan, who co-produce executive producers with Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Thomas Schnauz and Gennifer Hutchison. The series recently won a 2018 Peabody Award and has over three seasons 23 Emmy Award nominations, three Golden Globe Award nominations, two Writers Guild Awards, three Critics’ Choice Awards, a Television Critics Association Award, and two AFI Awards for ” TV Program of the Year ”, along with many other guild nominations.
