Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak cheekily advertised the 2021 Grammys on social media last week and now they seem to be getting their wish. Bruno Mars has confirmed in a Twitter post that the duo will perform on this year’s show, which is said to include appearances by Cardi B, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion and others.
The tweet from Mars, which can be found below, includes a Recording Academy announcement graphic that reads, “Silk Sonic is only meeting live for one night at the Grammys” (the Recording Academy subsequently confirmed the news with its own tweet).
Mars and .Paak presented their duo project Silk Sonic with the single “Leave the Door Open” earlier this month. The 2021 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 14th and will air on CBS at 8 p.m. Eastern (5 p.m. Pacific).
