BTS and Megan Thee Stallion shared their “butter” remix following legal intervention earlier this week. Listen to the track below.
On Tuesday (August 24), Megan filed a lawsuit claiming that her label, 1501 Complete Entertainment, had blocked the track’s release. She claimed that the label purposely stalled her career with the move, a situation she faced with the release of Suga last year. A Texas court ruled in favor of the rapper at the end of the day, finding that 1501 and his staff “were recently engaged to be engaged and will continue to engage in conduct that will result in the release of [Megan Thee Stallion’s] new music.”
BTS shared another “Hotter” remix of “Butter” a few days after its May release. Since then they have released another new single, “Permission to Dance”.
