Charli XCX hosts her own podcast: Charli XCX’s Best Song Ever debuts on BBC Sounds on August 9th before being widely released a week later. Guests such as Christine and the Queens, Caroline Polachek, Beabadobee and Mark Ronson discuss the music that shaped their lives and have winding conversations to determine the “best song of all time” for different life scenarios such as a breakup or spontaneous singing along .

Also featured are Ziwe, Tove Lo, Addison Rae, Benny Drama, Barbie Ferreira and Bowen Yang. “Good Ones”, the first single from Charli XCX’s successor to How I’m Feeling Now, will follow on September 3rd.

In a press release, Charli XCX said:

The reason I wanted to do this podcast is because I love talking to people and exploring the emotional connection that every person can have with music. Songs that set certain moments in life to music can dramatically amplify and influence a moment, and that’s why I wanted to explore with some of my favorite creative people what those moments and songs are. In every conversation that I have had, I have learned something completely new about each guest and I have the feeling that I got to know each one a little better.

The podcast was produced by Max O’Brien and Amy Lee for Novel Productions.
