Christian Bale wears his head shaved while filming Thor: Love and Thunder
Christian Bale is known for going through dramatic body transformations for his film projects (e.g. The dark knight or lose weight dramatically for The mechanic). He looks very different Thor: love and thunder from his usual self. In fact, he looked so different than usual that he could enjoy a day at the beach in Sydney, Australia without being recognized by most people. This is due to a stripped down look and a shaved head.

According to the Daily Mail, Bale spent a day off with his family in Palm Beach. The beautiful locale is an hour from Sydney Thor: love and justice is being filmed. The 47-year-old plays Gorr the God Butcher, Thor’s archenemy in the 2022 film.
In the comics, the super villain grew up on a barren planet. After his family died from the gruesome circumstances, Gorr lost his faith in the gods and eventually vowed to kill them all after learning of their existence. He is a relatively new character in Marvel canon as first introduced in 2013 Thor: God of thunder # 2.
The fourth Thor The film is directed by the New Zealand standout Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit). The script was written by Waititi and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone great). Familiar faces return with Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Oscar-winning Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.

Speaking to Waititi in 2019, the director wasn’t sure if the film would fit the plot of Foster fighting cancer.
“Even now, I’m not sure we’re going to continue with this story. I really like it. The way the stories at Marvel unfold is constantly changing. We know we have Jane Foster and that’s cool the way it is. Personally, I like the story of her fighting this disease and all of this when she chooses to fight it and become a god. That’s cool, but it always changes. That will change by the time we start shooting. As with ‘Ragnarok’! We kept changing it during filming. “
Thor: love and thunder is expected to be released on May 6, 2022.
