After 25 years of waiting, it’s finally time to come and bang as we all want to jam as Warner Bros. unveiled the first trailer for the LeBron James-directed sequel to the family sports comedy Space Jam: A New Legacyand saw the four-time NBA champion team up with the insane cast of Looney Tunes save the world. Space Jam: A New Legacy An aspiring video game developer, LeBron and his young son Cole find themselves in a digital world trapped by a rogue algorithm called Al-G Rhythm. The sports star has to lead Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, Lola Bunny and the rest of the undisciplined Melodies to defeat Al-G’s digitized players on the pitch to return home and save the world.
James runs an ensemble list that includes Star Trek: Discovery Star Sonequa Martin-Green as his wife Kamiyah and The falcon and the winter soldierDon Cheadle as Al-G as well as Damian Lillard from Portland Trailblazers, Anthony Davis from New Orleans Pelicans, Klay Thompson from Golden State Warriors and Draymond Green, Kyle Kuzma from Los Angeles Lakers, Chris Paul from Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury The siblings Chiney and Nneka Ogwumike by Diana Taurasi and Los Angeles Sparks. The cast for the film also includes Star Trek: Discovery and the Walking Dead Alum Sonequa Martin-Green as James’ wife, Kamiyah.
