Come Play has a lot of effectively scary sequences that are worth it.
With a running time of less than two hours, the horror offer is a tight and concise film that gives horror fans the opportunity to get up to date. Jacob Chase in particular has a good grasp of the importance of sounds that cause chills down your back. There are a number of memorable moments, especially in the fear department, that will grab your attention and make Come Play a worthy entry into the genre. The film implements practical effects to show the character of Larry, who the monster Oliver is “friends” with on his tablet, and as soon as his parents notice the hidden monster, the terror in their household grows.
