The new cut of the film is based on a script by Chris Terrio from an original story by Terrio, Snyder and Will Beall and includes actors directed by Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry / Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone / Cyborg and Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman. Also included in the ensemble are Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, JK Simmons as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf and Ray Porter as Darkseid.

Patty Jenkins directed a script she co-wrote with Geoff Johns & David Callaham, a Jenkins & Johns story based on characters from DC.
