Just a month away from the long-awaited 20th Century’s release Free guy, Lead actor Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to share a fun promotional video for Shawn Levy’s upcoming action comedy, in which Reynolds is repeating his role as Deadpool after nearly three years since then Once upon a time there was a Deadpool. The video, which you can watch below, shows the popular antihero Taika Waititis Korg invites to the Free guy Pendant. Additionally, Deadpool also had a chance to ask Korg for tips on getting started with the MCU. This promo teaser marks the first time since the Disney-Fox acquisition that the Merc with a Mouth has officially interacted with an MCU character.

Emmy winner Jodie Comer joins Ryan Reynolds (Kill Eve), Lil Rel Howery (Get out), Joe Keery (Strange thingsUtkarsh Ambudkar (Blind spottings) and Oscar-winning filmmaker Taika Waititi (Thor: love and thunder) who reunites with Reynolds after previously starring in the infamous DC movie Green Lantern in 2011.
The film will also feature cameos from some of the video game world’s most popular influencers, including Imane “Pokimane” Anys, Lannan “LazarBeam” Eacott, Seán William “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Daniel “DanTDM” Middleton.

Free guy directed by Shawn Levy (Strange things, Night at the museum Franchise) based on a screenplay by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn and a story by Lieberman. Producers are Ryan Reynolds, pga, Shawn Levy, pga, Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti and Adam Kolbrenner with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine and Michael Riley McGrath as executive producers.
The film is currently slated to hit theaters on August 13th.
