Just two weeks after adding Julia Jones and others to Showtime’s roster Dexter The Revival continues to expand its cast with the addition of High maintenance and Headlights Alum Michael Cyril Creighton, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Creighton will appear in seven of the ten episodes of the revival as Fred Jr., the personable owner of the Fred’s Fish & Game store, which he inherited from his father. He has lived in Iron Lake all his life, growing up in the area and being a staple that everyone knows and loves. He is married to Brian, the pastor of the small parish church in town.
Jones will play the role of Angela Bishop, who is the first Native American Police Chief in her city, New York, while Johnny Sequoyah will play Bishop’s brazen and wayward teenage daughter named Audrey. Alano Miller will play a sergeant for the Iron Lake Police Department and the assistant wresting instructor for the local high school. Jack Alcott will play the character from Randall, who is described as someone who has a meaningful encounter with Dexter.
In the 10 episode revival, Clyde Phillips will return as showrunner with Marcos Siega, who directed nine episodes of the run of the original show and directed six of the new episodes as well as executive productions.
In November, new plot details for the revival were revealed: “10 years after Dexter Morgan disappeared in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the character lives under a supposed name in a world outside of Miami during the revival.”
Michael C. Hall played Dexter Morgan, a serial killer who specifically targeted other serial killers while also serving as a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Police Department. Dexter ran for eight seasons on Showtime and received multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominations and a Peabody Award. Hall took home a Golden Globe in 2010 for his portrayal of Dexter Morgan, along with John Lithgow, who won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for his role as Arthur Mitchell on the series.
