HBO Max dropped the whole thing Doom Patrol Season 3 trailer for the highly anticipated return of the popular DC series, which is expected to premiere on September 23 with the first three episodes. The video, which you can watch in the player below, shows an even crazier season for the team of outcasts grappling with the arrival of Madame Rouge, the Brotherhood of Evil and the Sisterhood of Dada. It also sees the team encountering some key issues, including engaging in time travel; turn into zombies; Victor, grappling with the possibility of being closed; Clint has problems with his brain; and more.

Partly self-help group, part superhero team, the Doom Patrol is a gang of super powered freaks fighting for a world that has nothing to do with them. The show stars Brendan Fraser, Diane Guerrero, Matt Bomer, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade and Timothy Dalton.
“Season three begins with the climax of Dorothy’s confrontation with the candle maker, which leads to a devastating loss,” the official summary reads. “The Doom Patrol is at a difficult crossroads and every member is struggling to face who they are and who they want to be. And things get a lot more complicated when Madame Rouge arrives in a time machine on a very specific mission, if she could only remember it. “
New cast members join the new season, including Michelle Gomez as Madame Rouge and Sisterhood of Dada, whose members are portrayed by Micah Joe Parker, Wynn Everett, Miles Mussenden, Anita Kalathara and Gina Hiraizumi. Madalyn Horcher, Ty Tennant and Sebastian Croft were also cast for guest appearances.

Based on the DC Comics series by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani, Doom Patrol is written and created by Supernaturalis Jeremy Carver. Executive producers are Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, Jeremy Carver and Sarah Schechter.
The first two seasons can now be streamed on HBO Max.
