Eli Roth’s horror story renewed for season 3 at AMC

Eli Roth’s History of Horror brings together horror creators and stars such as Stephen King, Jordan Peele and Quentin Tarantino to explore the genre’s biggest themes and reveal the inspirations and struggles behind some of its greatest films.

In the second season, which premiered in October, Megan Fox (Jennifer’s body), Ari Aster (Midsummer), James Brolin (The Amityville Horror), Piper Laurie (Carrie), Bill Hader (It: Chapter 2), Nancy Allen (Dressed to kill), Katharine Isabelle (Freddie versus Jason), Rachel True (The craft), Ashley Laurence (Hellraiser Films) and Roger Corman (The silence of the Lambs) as well as returning respondents Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Jordan Peele, Greg Nicotero, Edgar Wright, Leonard Maltin, Slash, Joe Dante, Jack Black, Mary Harron, Tom Savini, Karyn Kusama, John Landis and many others.

Eli Roth’s story of horror is produced by Roth, Kurt Sayenga, Steven Michaels, Jodi Flynn, Joseph Freed and Allison Berkley. The series is produced by The Content Group. Roth’s notable horror movie credits include Cabin fever, hostel, Grindhouse: Thanksgiving, The final exorcism, Green inferno, Knock Knock, and clown.

The first two seasons of the series can be streamed on AMC and Shudder.
