Evil Dead: The Game has been postponed to February 2022, but this new release window will result in players getting a new mode.

That extra time also allows us to implement a single player option that allows you to enjoy the game when you are without your co-op comrades.

The game’s official Twitter account announced the delay. The tweet above quoted the need for extra polish, as is almost always the case when a game slips. However, a specific date in February was not given.

But this delay brings good news for those who do not want to play this multiplayer game online. Saber Interactive implements a single player option with bots so people can jump in without other people. This is helpful for those who want to find their way around without the stakes being that high.

The asymmetrical horror game was first announced at The Game Awards in 2020. The first gameplay elements made their debut at the Summer Game Fest in June and featured parts of classic characters from the films and TV series. Ash vs. Evil Dead. It’s still coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
