Faye Webster and Goose Island Beer Co. have collaborated on a special edition beer that will be available at the Pitchfork Music Festival taking place September 10-12 in Chicago’s Union Park. The peach warehouse is called Better Distractions and takes inspiration from Webster’s own Georgia roots. Of course, when you drink Better Distractions you get aromas of peach, but also apricot, pie crust and honeysuckle. The 5.3% vol. Beer has a light body and is just a little bit tart, reminiscent of a bite into a juicy peach.

Luke Webster, Faye’s brother, designed the artwork for the Better Distractions label. He previously did the artwork for Webster’s new album I Know I’m Funny Haha. The beer will be exclusively available at the Pitchfork Music Festival, the Pitchfork After Show in the Sleeping Village and the Goose Island Fulton Taproom while supplies last.

The proceeds from the community beer will benefit Fair Fight Action. Fair Fight Action raises public awareness of electoral reforms, advocates electoral reform at all levels and is involved in other voter education programs and communications.

Faye Webster will perform at the Pitchfork Music Festival on Saturday September 11th. Tickets are now available.
