Freddie Gibbs shared a new single with ScHoolboy Q called “Gang Signs”. The track comes with a new animated music video directed by Aaron Hymes and illustrator Gabriel Alcala. Check out the video below which shows Gibbs as the rabbit and Q as the turtle.

“I was just trying to pay homage to Do or Die and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony when I made this song,” Gibbs said in a statement. “I grew up during this time. It was long overdue for me and Q to make a record. “

“Gang Signs” follows last year’s Gibbs track “4 Thangs” with Big Sean, produced by Hit-Boy. The full-length Indiana rapper’s youngest rapper, Alfredo, in collaboration with The Alchemist, received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album in 2021. Last year Gibbs also appeared on tracks from Machinedrum and Conway the Machine.
