Actor Djimon Hounsou starred in DC’s 2019 film Shazamwhere he played a wizard who was the last surviving member of the Council of Wizards. Now it seems like he’s not finished with his role in the DCEU, even though he appeared to have died in the first film.

Hounsou was recently upcoming on the set of Shazam! Wrath of godwhere he doesn’t look quite like his character from the first film, but is at least in production for the sequel. In the original Shazam, the wizard disappeared after giving his skills to Billy Batson (Asher Angel), but it appears to be an indication that maybe he isn’t dead after all.
