Los Angeles-based bedroom pop artist Hana Vu has announced her new album, Public Storage. It’s her first for Ghostly International and is out on November 5th. The new single is called “Everybody’s Birthday” and follows the previously shared single “Maker”. Hear it below.
“I’m not religious, but when I wrote these songs I imagined some kind of desolate character who cried out for something more after an ultimately punishing force,” said Vu of the album she co-produced with Jackson Phillips.
Hana Vu also said about her new single: “It’s about the collective misery and depressive introspection that you experience on your birthday, which can feel endless in this time of being alone.”
