HBO appoints Philippa Goslett as the new showrunner for The Nevers

Two months after the departure of original writer / showrunner Joss Whedon (The avengers) from the position, HBO’s epic science fiction drama The Nevers has found a new showrunner and executive producer Mary Magdalene Co-author Philippa Goslett, according to the deadline.

Whedon was to serve as executive producer, showrunner, writer and director on the series. Jane Espenson and Doug Petrie are co-writers and executive producers in addition to EP Bernie Caulfield.
