HBO Max Original Content Director Sarah Aubrey loved the series order. “This is a compelling story about the frustrations and desires of two women in a small town that culminated in a terrible act of violence,” said Aubrey. “We are very excited to partner with David, Lesli, Nicole and Per and are incredibly lucky to have Elizabeth at the center of our story to bring out all of the layers of candy that make this story so memorable.”

Executive producers include Nicole Kidman and Per Saari through Blossom Films, Scott Brown and Megan Creydt through Texas Monthly, Matthew Tinker, Michael Klick and Helen Verno.
