HBO Max’s Raised by Wolves begins filming season two

Raised by wolves Star Abubakar Salim, who plays the father on HBO’s hit science fiction drama series, has announced that filming has begun on the series’ second season. Salim made the announcement on Twitter, where the actor shared a few behind-the-scenes photos. He also teased “big news this week”, saying he was “incredibly happy to be here”. The series was renewed for the second season two weeks later in September 2020 Raised by wolves debuted to strong reviews from critics and solid audiences to back up the hype. A premiere date for the second season has not yet been announced.

Raised by wolves The focus is on two androids who are supposed to raise human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling people’s beliefs is a treacherous and difficult task.

The cast includes Amanda Collin (A conspiracy of faith, a terrible woman), Abubakar Salim (Fortitude, Jamestown), Winta McGrath (Aloft, red dog: True Blue), Niamh Algar (The virtues, calm with horses), Jordan Loughran (The Infiltrator, Emerald City), Matias Varela (Narcos, point break), Felix Jamieson (Game of Thrones, The Spirit), Ethan Hazzard (That long song, damn it), Aasiya Shah (Call the midwife, remember), Ivy Wong (Star Wars: Rogue One, Maleficent 2) and Travis Fimmel (Vikings).

The series is produced by Scott’s Scott Free Productions along with Scott, writer and creator Aaron Guzikowski, David W. Zucker (The man in the high castle), Jordan Sheehan (The terror), Adam Kolbrenner (Prisoners) and Mark Huffam (The Martian) as executive producers.
