Unsound Festival has released a new compilation called Intermission. It offers a new collaboration between Jlin and the late SOPHIE called “JSLOIPNHIE”. Hear it below.
The new compilation also includes songs by Tim Hecker with Agata Harz and Katarzyna Smoluk, Moor Mother with Geng and more. The compilation was published along with a book of essays, poems and fiction, “to create a unique interdisciplinary work that combines different opinions, narratives, art forms and genres.”
“JSLOIPNHIE” was completed before SOPHIE’s sudden death in January at the age of 34. Many SOPHIE colleagues paid tribute, including the frequent employee Charli XCX. Read “How SOPHIES Music Inspired a Generation of Underground Artists” and “Remember SOPHIES Radical Futurism”.
