Ian Sweet shared a cover of the Coldplay single “Yellow”. Will Duncan directed the accompanying video for the musician’s interpretation of the track. Watch it below.

“I’ve seen Coldplay live six times,” Ian Sweet said in a statement. “Parachutes was the first CD I ever borrowed from the library and it changed my life. I owe a lot to Coldplay for who I am and the way I write and perform music. I wanted to cover ‘Yellow’ because it’s my favorite song for karaoke, love song, breakup song, feel good song…. It’s all.”

Ian Sweets album Show Me How You Disappear was released earlier this year. Read Pitchfork’s Rising interview, “The Dream-Pop Transcendence of Ian Sweet”.
