The Netflix revenge thriller sweet girl starring Jason Momoa and Isabela Merced is now streamed. The latest film from director Brian Andrew Mendoza, the film features Momoa seeking revenge after the death of his wife.
Both actors praised the stunt team they worked with, 87eleven, and Merced said she has had the most fun doing stunts so far and is hoping for a sequel with even more action.
“[I’m playing] authorized characters only. It was so much fun because they could do a lot of action scenes and I’ve always loved action films, ”Merced told ComingSoon. “This stunt team in particular is called 87eleven and has worked on some of my favorite action films of all time. So I really thought, ‘Oh my god, I’m Charlize. Charlize Theron in Atomic blonde. ‘ As if this is actually happening. It was wonderful. I can barely wait for it. Maybe there will be a sequel, hopefully there will be time for more action. But as I really hope it’s soon and with the same stunt team because they were just amazing and everything was so much fun. I’ve never had so much fun with my own stunts. “

Momoa also praised the stunt team and how they were able to perform realistic looking fight scenes.
“I think that’s what we wanted to do,” Momoa told ComingSoon. “Especially with our stunt team 87eleven. I really wanted to portray a father who wants to teach his daughter certain skills. I mean, these are the things that I would definitely teach my daughter, and I do jiu-jitsu and kickboxing and stuff like that. So it’s something we wrote from what we know and what we love, and that’s why we made the piece. I love making a contemporary film about an everyday man. “
