Jai Courtney (The suicide squad, Stateless) has officially joined the Amazon Prime Video drama-thriller series The terminal list, after diversity. Courtney will appear in a recurring guest star role alongside MCU star Chris Pratt.

Based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr, The terminal list follows James Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a classified, high-stakes mission. Reece returns to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his guilt. However, when new evidence emerges, Reece discovers that dark forces are working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those who love him as well.

Courtney will play Steve Horn, “the billionaire king behind Capstone Industries. Capstone is a hugely successful global fund that does everything from pharmaceuticals to fashion. But Horns Bread and Butter benefits from the latest military trends and innovations. Horn’s hubris and influence are equally threatening and will put him right in Reece’s crosshairs. “
The cast also includes JD Pardo, Constance Wu, Riley Keough, Taylor Kitsch and Jeanne Tripplehorn.
In March it was announced that the production of the project with Antoine Fuqua (Training day, The glory seven, The equalizer) on the director’s chair.

The series is produced by Pratt, Fuqua via Fuqua Films, and writer David DiGilio, who also serves as the showrunner, is executive producer. Carr is also executive producer along with Jon Schumacher through Indivisible Productions and author Daniel Shattuck. The project is a co-production by Amazon Studios and Civic Center Media in collaboration with MRC Television.
