James Gunn unveils a new poster for The Suicide Squad ahead of the trailer!
Just months away from the arrival of James Gunn’s highly anticipated stand-alone sequel to DC Extended Universe, the filmmaker took to Twitter to unveil next year’s new poster The suicide squad and the announcement of a trailer will also have its premiere tomorrow! The new trailer can be seen below!

The official logline of the film is as follows:
Welcome to Hell – aka Belle Reve, the highest death rate prison in the US from A. Where the worst supervillains are kept and where they’ll do anything to get out – even join the super secret, super shady quest of Force X. Today’s do-or-die task? Gather a collection of downsides including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin, and Harley Quinn, everyone’s favorite psycho. Then heavily arm them and drop them (literally) on the remote, hostile island of Corto Maltese. The squad wanders through a jungle full of militant opponents and guerrilla forces at every turn and is on a search and destruction mission with only Colonel Rick Flag on site to make them behave … and Amanda Waller’s government technician to their ears its to track your every move. And as always, one wrong move and you are dead (whether by your opponent, a teammate or Waller himself). When someone makes bets, the smart money is against them – everyone.

The suicide squad Actors are: John Cena, Jai Courtney, Joaquín Cosío, Joel Kinnaman, Maylin Ng, Flula Borg, Juan Deigo Botto, Sturm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, Viola Davis, Idris Elba and Margot Robbie.
As we already know, Davis, Robbie, Courtney and Kinnaman will all play the same roles they had in the 2016 movie as Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang and Rick Flag. Michael Rooker will play Savant, Flula Borg will play Javelin, David Dastmalchian will play Polka Dot Man, Daniela Melchior will play Ratcatcher 2, Idris Elba will play Bloodsport, Mayling NG will play Mongal, Peter Capaldi will play Thinker, Alice Braga will play Solsoria , Pete Davidson will play Blackguard, Natha Fillion will play TDK, Sean Gunn will play Weasel, John Cena will play Peace Maker, and Steve Agee will play King Shark.

The suicide squad is written and directed by Gunn, with Charles Roven and Peter Safran as producers and Nik Korda as executive producers for the film, which hits theaters and HBO Max on August 6!
