Scott (damnation) would join Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn on the show named after one of the most iconic comic book stories ever told. The 35-year-old last played Rob Reilly in Dublin murders and DI Eric Wardle in CB Strike. There’s still no word on what role Scott would play on the show.
In the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series, first announced in September and confirmed as an adaptation of the comic book plot in December, Jackson will repeat his role as former SHIELD director Nick Fury alongside Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, pseudo-leader of the Skrulls . Jackson as Fury has been a mainstay for the MCU and a source of connective tissue between many films. Mendelsohn repeats his role of Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home in the post-credits scene, where it was found that he played Fury throughout the film.
