Kravitz, Marin, Carden & more take part in the Shotgun Wedding

Just two weeks after Josh Duhamel landed to replace original star Armie Hammer as co-lead of Lionsgate’s action rom-com Must see expands its line-up to include Lenny Kravitz (star), Cheech Marin (The war with grandpa), D’Arcy Carden (The good place), Selena Tan (Crazy rich Asians), Desmin Borges (You are the worst) and Alex Mallari (Dark matter).

Must see The focus is on Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom, who gather their lovable but very empathetic families for the ultimate destination wedding just as the couple are starting to get cold feet. If that wasn’t enough threat to the celebration, suddenly everyone’s life is in danger when the entire group is taken hostage and “Until Death Do Us Part” takes on a whole new meaning as Darcy and Tom have to save their loved ones – if they don’t kill each other first.

Kravitz will star as Sean, Grace’s globetrotter. Marin will play Robert, Grace’s father Carden is set to star as Harriet, Robert’s new wife, Tan will appear as Marge, the head of the wedding resort, while Borges will play Ricky, Tom and Tom’s embarrassing childhood best friend, permanently overwhelmed with whiskey Mallari as Dog-Face, a pirate.

The film is directed by Jason Moore (Pitch perfect) from a script by Mark Hammer (Two bedside tables) and Liz Meriwether (Single parents, bless this mess). The studio plans to start production earlier this year.

The timing for Hammers’ departure followed a series of social media DMs describing sexually controversial behavior that allegedly came from his account. While the news has not yet been verified as his, sources report that members of Hammer’s team worked to garner support for the actor in Hollywood and to assure those that he did not air such messages.
