Apple TV + has the upcoming adaptation of. officially placed a serial order The changeling, based on Victor LaVelle’s 2017 fantasy horror novel of the same name. Atlanta Star LaKeith Stanfield has starred and will also serve as executive producer on the project.

The changeling Series is described as a fairy tale for adults. A horror story, parenting fable, and dangerous odyssey through New York City you didn’t know existed. It is written and executive producer by Kelly Marcel (Cruella), who will also act as showrunner, with Melina Matsoukas as director.

Stanfield was first known for his acting debut in Destin Daniel Cretton Short term 12. Since then, his film career has grown steadily, which has led him to star in several acclaimed films, such as: Selma, Straight from Compton, Snowden, Exit, Sorry to bother you, Knife ort and last Judas and the Black Messiah. The latter earned him his first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
He’ll next be featured in the Netflix all-star western movie The harder they fall, and the long-awaited third season of the hit FX series Atlantawhere he will repeat his role as Darius Epps.

The changeling Series is a co-production between Apple Studios and Annapurna. Matsoukas, Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle, Patrick Chu, Ali Krug and Khaliah Neal will act as executive producers.
