Venom: Let There Be Carnage released three months back

With the long awaited Q9: The Quick Saga Sony Pictures, recently substituted for the movie’s original date, has decided to postpone that led by Tom Hardy Poison: Let there be carnage for the third time for three months from June to September. In addition to delaying the second episode in Sony’s Marvel Universe, the studio has delayed the action comedy The man from Toronto starring Kevin Hart, Kaley Cuoco, and Woody Harrelson, originally slated for September release and now slated for an undisclosed release in 2021.

Andy Serkis runs the Venom sequelThis was his first attempt at a comic book feature after appearing in two Marvel Studios films. Let there be carnage will mark the third feature film that Serkis will pursue as a director Mowgli: Legend of the Junglethat was released on Netflix last year.

Tom Hardy will repeat his role as Eddie Brock in the film alongside Michelle Williams as Anne Weying. Cletus Kasady, also known as Carnage, was briefly in the Poison Film franchise during the mid-credits scene in the original film where Woody Harrelson was exposed as Venom’s archenemy. It was recently confirmed that Harrelson would be returning for that Poison Episode. Oscar nominee Naomie Harris (Moonlight) was also reportedly in talks to play the role of villain Shriek, who is Carnage’s love interest and accomplice.

Originally debuted on October 2, 2020 and then postponed to June 25, 2021, the sequel is now slated to hit theaters on September 17 in 3D, IMAX and large format cinemas.
