According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar-nominated Andy Garcia has officially signed up to star in Lionsgate and Millennium Media’s upcoming fourth installment of their action franchise alongside Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone the Expendables. He is supposed to play the role of a CIA agent who is supposed to accompany the title team on their dangerous mission. Production is scheduled to start next month.

Garcia is best known for his appearances in crime films such as Brian De Palma’s The untouchables, Francis Ford Coppolas The Godfather Part III, and Steven Soderberghs Ocean’s Eleven Films that all appeared with top-class ensembles. He recently worked with Statham in Guy Ritchie’s Wrath of man Movie.

Consumables 4 Directed by Scott Waugh (Act of bravery, Need for speed) from a screenplay by Spenser Cohen with revisions by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly. In addition to Stathams Lee Christmas and Stallones Barney Ross, the cast Dolph Lundgren (Creed II) and Randy Couture (Setback), who repeat their respective roles as Gunner Jensen and Toll Road.

In the new edition, franchise newcomers Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (power), Megan Fox (Until death) and Tony Jaa (Monster hunter).

The new Consumables The edition is produced by Statham, Kevin King Templeton and Les Weldon Yariv Lerner, Jeffrey Greenstein and Jonathan Yunger on behalf of Millennium Media. Executive producers for Millennium Media are Avi Lerner, Boaz Davidson and Trevor Short with Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman on behalf of Campbell Grobman Films. Abby Mills is co-producing. Eda Kowan and Jonah Leach will be directing the film for Lionsgate.

Lionsgate will release the film in the US, Canada and the UK.
