In a recent interview with Murphy’s Multiverse, Loki Director Kate Herron spoke about the Multiverse and explained how the Sacred Timeline has split.
“So there are the branches, right, it’s like the alternate reality,” Herron said. “But then you will see it, it is very subtle, but in the very last shot that you see the multiverse, there are basically other larger physical timeline branches. So it is almost as if these different separate trees are now connecting. “
Herron went on to describe the branches as bridges, and now that some of them are starting to connect, the ability to connect them together is certainly on the table.
“It’s almost like a bridge. If you imagine the industry, it is like a different reality. But if the branch extends beyond a certain point, it will connect to other physical timelines … In the last shot we took there are others like thicker ones [branches] that are supposed to be like our timeline. And there are other timelines like this and the branches are basically the connecting pieces. “
