The Los Angeles County’s Department of Health today issued a new ordinance requiring attendees of every major outdoor event to wear masks due to an increase in COVID-19 cases, Variety reports. These include concerts, outdoor festivals, and sporting events. The department, which previously introduced a mandate for inner masks in July, confirmed that this new mandate will be implemented as the delta variant of COVID-19 has become prevalent in the county.
