While you might want to see Love and Monsters on as big a screen as possible, the thrill and heart in director Michael Matthews’ film still scales nicely in the privacy of your home. Dylan O’Brien’s down-to-earth hero helps by grounding the massive playgrounds of destruction and their good and bad citizens with an unwavering heart. That said, everything you see begs to get on screen, and one can only hope that Love and Monsters could be a title that theaters can use to help reopen them when the big theatrical show gets back on its feet.
