In 19th century Europe, people are in the grip of old superstitions and the fear of vampires is widespread across the country. Strange rituals are performed to find the resting places of the undead, and macabre trials are held over destroyed corpses. The countess hardly notices what is going on. She is more concerned that her beauty is waning and that her husband only seems interested in his birds of prey, watching the behavior of the superstitious locals.

Panic beats
Spanish horror legend Paul Naschy directed and stars in this dark and macabre story of lust, betrayal and ghostly revenge. Naschy plays a descendant of the Alaric de Marnac character, who first appeared in his 1973 film Horror Rises from the Tomb.

The interrogation (DVD)
This film is a fictional representation of the last questioning and the last days of Rudolph Ferdinand Hoss, the longtime commandant of the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II, in which Hoss was later executed for his crimes against humanity. This film is characterized by the fact that for the first time an Israeli film director (Erez Pery) gives the perpetrator a voice.
