Marissa Nadler has announced that her next album will be out soon. It’s called The Path of the Clouds, and it’s out October 29th (via Sacred Bones / Bella Union). She shared a song called “Bessie, Did You Make It?” from the record, and Mitch Wells from Thou directed the visual rendering of the song. Check it out below.

The Path of the Clouds is Nadler’s first solo album in three years, following For My Crimes in 2018. Since then, she has released new material with John Cale, Simon Raymonde, Mary Lattimore and others, in addition to a 2019 album with Stephen Brodsky.
