Mannequin Pussy – now the trio of singer, guitarist and keyboardist Missy, bassist Colins “Bear” Regisford and drummer Kaleen Reading – has announced the Perfect EP. It’s May 21st via Epitaph. Check out the Missy-directed video for the new song “Control” below.
Mannequin Pussy said they booked studio time after spending most of the year apart and they wrote the new EP on the fly. “We just figured if we force ourselves into a situation where someone could beat a ‘record’ something might come out,” Missy said in a statement. “We had never written like this before.”
Mannequin Pussy last released Patience in 2019.
