Afropop artist Eazi has announced a new EP called Something Else. The EP will be released on February 19th via Eazi’s own Banku Music / emPawa Africa. Today (January 28th) Mr. Eazi shared his new single “The Don” which appears on the EP. Listen to this below.
“The Don” was produced by Killertunes and E Kelly. “I’ve worked all year to build emPawa Africa and transform myself into ‘Don Eazi’,” Eazi said in a press release. “I almost didn’t have time to record. This project was inspired by Kel P and Killertunes who kept meeting me in Accra until I finally recorded ‘The Don’. That opened the door for me to go back to the studio. “
In addition to Killertunes and E Kelly, Something Else features productions by Spellz, Blaq Jerzee, Kel P and Jaylon as well as a guest appearance by Xenia Manasseh. According to press releases, Mr. Eazi is currently working on his upcoming third album, tentatively titled Life is Eazi, Vol. 3, No. 3.
Last month, Mr. Eazi teamed up with J Balvin on her track “Lento”.
