Exclusive: Noah Centineo speaks to Dwayne Johnson in Black Adam

While talking to Noah Centineo about his upcoming Netflix movie To all boys: always and foreverComingSoon.net had the chance to ask Centineo about his upcoming DC role as Al Rothstein, aka Atom Smasher, in Warner Bros. ‘ Black Adamand his excitement of playing alongside Dwayne Johnson. During his appearance at last year’s DC FanDome event, it was announced that the film would include appearances by Hawkman, Doctor Fate and Cyclone in founding the Justice Society of America, while it was announced that Hawkgirl would have to remain absent for the time being. Over the years, many superheroes have adopted Hawkgirl’s secret identities. The only recurring element is her partner / romantic interest Hawkman as it is almost impossible to see one without the other. Recently, fans saw Shiera Sanders Hall’s version of Hawkgirl as part of the Justice Society of America in the Star girl Television series. Unfortunately, she lost her life to Brainwave the night the Injustice Society attacked JSA headquarters.

In addition to Quintessa Swindells (trinket) Cyclone, the movie will also feature Noah Centineo (To all the guys I’ve loved before) as Atom Smasher and Aldis Hodge (The invisible man) as Hawkman, with Doctor Fate also slated to appear in the film, though an actor has yet to be officially cast in the role.

Dwayne Johnson worked on it Black Adam for 10 years. The figure was originally supposed to appear this year Shazam! However, decided to save his much-anticipated debut for a later film so that each character could get some breathing space. However, despite not appearing in Shazam!his character was teased with the magician Shazam, played by Djimon Hounsou (Guardian of the Galaxy) and tells Billy Batson how it came about.

Based on the DC Comics character by Otto Binder and CC Beck, Black Adam Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (The shallows) with Johnson as the eponymous antihero and Adam Sztykiel, who wrote the current screenplay. Noah Centineo will play Atom Smasher in the film. The film will be the second collaboration between Collet-Serra and Johnson, who also collaborated on Disney’s upcoming adventure film Jungle cruise.

The film is being produced by Beau Flyn from Johnson and FlynnPicturesCo along with Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia from Seven Bucks Productions. Scott Sheldon will oversee the project for FlynnPictureCo.

Black Adam should be in theaters on December 22, 2021 but has recently been postponed to an unspecified release date due to production delays due to the global pandemic.
