British art rock band Dry Cleaning recorded a cover of Grimes’ 2011 single “Oblivion” for 4AD’s new Bill & Aches & Blues cover compilation, which features 18 artists from the label’s current list and songs from across 4AD – Includes discography. Other covers released today include Future Islands on Colourbox (“The Moon Is Blue”), Jenny Hval versus Lush (“Sunbathing”) and Deerhunters Bradford Cox on Breeder’s “Mountain Battles”. Dry Cleaning announced their debut studio album, New Long Leg, with the lead single “Strong Feelings” last month. The album follows a pair of EPs released in 2019: Sweet Princess and Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks.
