First generation Mexican-American singer and songwriter Omar Apollo launched his own hot sauce. The recipe for Disha Hot has been passed down in the artist’s family for generations. The sauce contains roasted chili de arbol, coriander, lime, habanero, tomatoes and much more.
According to the press release, Apollo’s parents immigrated to the United States from Guadalajara and opened a Mexican restaurant called El Super Taco, but were forced to close after Omar was born.
