OMB Peezy was arrested Monday March 1 in connection with a shooting in Atlanta that occurred while filming a music video by Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He was charged with aggravated assault with a lethal weapon and possession of a firearm while committing a crime, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed. The bond was set at $ 60,000.
The shooting took place on Sunday, February 21st at 598 Wells Street. Police said three men injured on the scene were in stable condition. Only one person was arrested at the scene and charged with drug possession unrelated to the shooting.
Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg were not injured in the incident. “Nobody shoots me,” tweeted Roddy Ricch on Monday, February 22nd. I’m juss tryna and feed the streets. “42 Dugg addressed the incident in a live Instagram conversation with Lil Baby:” Real talk, we’re all good man, “he said.
OMB Peezy is expected to release a new album called Too Deep for Tears this Friday March 3rd.
